Lance earned his degree in Architecture from the university of Houston. After graduating, he chose to specialize in the field of architectural lighting design and has done so for over 12 years. During that time he has won numerous awards for his work and has had his projects published regularly. As the letters after his name indicate, he is a professional voting member of the International Associating of Lighting Designers, has earned his Lighting Certification, is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, and is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects. In his spare time, Lance enjoys photographing exploding light bulbs. |
Sarah's professional bio reads largely like Lance's except that her Architecture degree is from the University of Virginia and has worked as a professional lighting designer for 10 years and counting. She also edged out Lance in the competition for letters-after-the-name when she earned the title of LEED Accredited Professional. She's been wanting a rainwater harvesting system for the house ever since, but admittedly still struggles with using compact fluorescent bulbs in her own house. |
Shortly after graduating from the University of Houston, Aleini, like
the rest of us, was recruited into the lighting industry. It was in this
position as a marketing specialist for a local firm that she fortuitously first worked with Lance and Sarah. Upon establishing a
strong network within Houston and surrounding areas, she was promoted to National Sales Manager for a
