Lance earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston. After graduating, he chose to specialize in the field of architectural lighting design and has done so for over 25 years. During that time, he has won numerous awards for his work and has had his projects published regularly. As the letters after his name indicate, he is a professional voting member of the International Association of Lighting Designers, has earned his Lighting Certification, is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, and is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects. Lance has also been a guest lecturer on lighting issues for many design and continuing education classes.
