When Houston's Downtown Redevelopment Authority installed new wayfinding signage throughout the district, they enlisted the help of G2LD to make sure the signs were well lit with no glare, minimal energy usage, and minimal maintenance concerns. G2LD designed a sign lighting scenario which would allow the vehicular signs to be uplit while the pedestrian signage is downlit from the same sleek, linear fixture. High color-rendering LEDs with a narrow beam spread allow the signs to be grazed evenly with light with minimal light spill and excellent efficiency.
