Working in conjunction with Montrose Management District and Texas Department of Transportation, G2LD was able to devise a dynamic lighting scheme for the six bridges which span Highway 59 within the Montrose District in Houston. The new lighting uses color-changing LEDs to illuminate the arches inside and out, as well as to highlight the signature trusses, so that the dynamic new bridges can be appreciated both by those crossing under on the freeway and by those crossing over through the neighborhoods. State-of-the-art wireless controls allow coordination of colors across all six bridges as well as with color-changing signage throughout the neighborhood.
