of lighting humor... You may have heard rumors about incandescent technology being outlawed, and in fact several countries have. But in the US? No...well, not exactly. Congress has passed legislation which sets efficiency standards for a variety of lamps and ballasts, most of which will begin to take effect in 2012. With the legislation raising the bar for efficiency, there are lamps across the board - incandescent, halogen, fluorescent - which are effectively outlawed. On the Boards: Car Display Barn  G2LD is pleased to be a part of the design team for a private car barn, built to showcase dozens of classic cars and memorabilia. The design for the 20,000 sq. ft. structure will highlight the museum quality collection as well as the extensive timber frame structure. Lighting Bloopers This submission was sent to us by our friends at Two Hills Studio in Austin. It seems the folks at the Post Office in Johnson City thought their lovely Lynn Ford copper sconces could use some augmentation.
